Comparative Politics and Legal Frameworks in Policy Development

Dr. Shadi Maganoe is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Law at the University of the Witwatersrand. Her research focuses on constitutional and administrative law, with particular interests in constitutional accountability, executive governance, the separation of powers, Chapter 9 institutions and legislative oversight in South Africa. Her scholarship examines the relationship between constitutional institutions and democratic governance, with a particular focus on strengthening accountability mechanisms within South Africa's constitutional democracy.
